There are three key warning signs which should prompt parents to seek an opinion from The London Podiatry Centre:
- A child that is in pain (look for subtle signs like unwillingness to walk and asking to be carried, dislike of sport etc.
- A child who is unstable and tends to trip and fall more than his or her peers.
- A child that has some evidence of deformity such as marked flat feet, deformity of toes, bunions, hammertoes etc.
