Cryosurgery

Cryosurgery is effective at breaking down nerve tissue with the full potential for the nerve to regenerate. Clearly, if any increase in tissue stress as a consequence of activity has not been addressed then the long term benefits of cryosurgery would be less certain.   Therefore, in most cases therapy would include a full biomechanical gait analysis to ascertain the factors that contributed to the neuroma in the first place with the formulation of a long term treatment plan to mitigate these factors.
